Each November, the Junior Board of Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky hosts the Charity Ball, which serves as one of the major fundraisers for the Home.
The Annual Charity Ball takes place Saturday, November 9, 2013 in the Cincinnati Airport Marriott’s International Ballroom. Our 77th year of Charity Ball festivities begins at 6:30 p.m. and includes dinner, drinks, dancing, gaming, and both a silent and live auction of fantastic goods and services donated by local and national businesses.
Proceeds from the ball have a direct and immediate impact on the Residential Treatment program offered by CHNK. Approximately 90 boys live at the Home each year, and the ever-widening gap between state funding and the actual cost to care for each boy is currently $30 a day. Your attendance at the Charity Ball – or sponsorship of the event – helps us bridge the gap and truly offer our boys the best care and therapy that money can provide.
