Residential Treatment

Our residential treatment facility is catered towards abused and neglected boys, between the ages of 7 and 17, who have severe emotional, behavioral, and social issues. Residential Treatment Services are provided on our two beautiful campuses in Covington and Burlington, Kentucky.

Covington Campus: Located on private property within Devou Park, the campus has a scenic view of downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. Treatment of mental and behavioral health issues as well as sexually reactive behaviors occurs on this campus.

Burlington Campus: Located in rural Boone County, the campus sits one mile off a county road and is comprised of 59 acres. Treatment of mental and behavioral health issues as well as substance abuse issues occurs on this campus.

Unique components of service include:

Therapeutic Individualized Phases for Success (TIPS), a behavior management program

Structured leisure, recreation, and educational enrichment activities

Individual, family and group therapy, including:

  • Psycho Social Group
  • Specialized Groups for Substance Abuse and Sexual Reactivity
  • Organized Recreational Therapy
  • Independent Living Skills Group (divided by age, including Cub Scouts for children 12 and under)

Last year, 88 boys lived at the Home and participated in the Residential Treatment Program.

The average length of stay was approximately 8.5 months.

75% of discharged residents who completed 8 months or more of treatment were returned to a relative or sent to a foster home or other less restrictive setting.
