Privacy Policy

Our Commitment to Protecting Privacy

Just as we value the privacy of the clients we serve, the privacy of our constituents – including donors, volunteers, and website visitors like you! – is just as important to us. Our privacy policy is outlined below, explaining what data collect, how we protect it, and how we’ll never share or sell it.

What We Collect:

We collect as little or as much information as you want to provide to Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky when making a donation, attending an event, or completing any other CHNK-related action.

When you make a donation by check or credit card, we enter into our secure database the contact information on your check, on the remittance envelope, or what you provided via the online donation form.

At any time, however, you can request that we not publically recognize your gift. You can also request that we not mail, email, or call you other than to provide you with official acknowledgement of your donation.

Information you provide when volunteering, registering for an event, submitting a resume, taking a tour of our campus, or completing any other CHNK-related action is also entered into our database. As with donations, however, you can request that we not contact you by mail, email, and/or phone.

Requests to not be contacted by CHNK unless you have expressly initiated contact can be sent to info@chnk.org or by calling 859.261.8768.

How We Use the Information You Provide:

Information provided when making a donation to CHNK is used only to the extent that is necessary to complete and acknowledge the transaction.

Mailing addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers are used strictly by CHNK to stay in communication with you. At no time is this contact information shared or sold to other nonprofits or outside parties. Likewise, we don’t purchase contact lists from any entity; we like our bridge builders to come to us organically!

We’re Committed to Data Security

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have physical, electronic, and managerial procedures in place to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Need to chat further about privacy?

We’re happy to answer any questions you may have about the information we collect and how we safeguard it. Simply call (859.261.8768) or email (info@chnk.org), and one of our bridge builders will be able to help you.
