Funds raised during the event directly support the essential treatment services provided to children and families served by OneQuest.

OneQuest Health to Host Annual “Building Bridges to Better Futures” Breakfast; Honoring The Yung Family Foundation

COVINGTON, KY – MARCH 17, 2026 – OneQuest Health, a nearly 150-year-old healthcare organization currently impacting clients from 85 of the 120 counties of Kentucky, today announced the opening its first outpatient mental health office in Louisville. The expansion marks another major milestone in the organization’s quest to transform Kentucky’s health by scaling integrated, proactive mental health care across the Commonwealth. 

Located in the Medical Arts Center at 1169 Eastern Parkway, the new facility will provide individual, couples, and family therapy to those grappling with mental illness, addiction, and other behavioral challenges that impact their stability at home, in the workplace, and throughout the community. Patients also have access to telehealth to create an easier path to mental health and for intensive outpatient programming. 

The expansion comes as Kentucky’s mental health system faces a persistent crisis. Currently, 3.4 million Kentuckians live in mental health professional shortage areas. This lack of accessible care has led to dire systemic consequences:

OneQuest Health expects the Louisville office to open Spring 2026, expanding access for residents of Jefferson and surrounding counties. This is OneQuest Health’s second new office opening in less than two years. OneQuest Health also operates treatment locations in Burlington, Covington, and Williamstown, Kentucky, with many services accessible via telehealth to reach clients wherever they are. 

OneQuest Health Continues Growth, Increasing Mental Health Services, with First Louisville Outpatient Expansion 

COVINGTON, KY – February 23, 2026 – OneQuest Health, a regional leader in integrated physical and mental well-being, today announced a generous and transformative $1 million investment from the Yung Family Foundation. This landmark gift is one of the most significant philanthropic contributions in the organization’s nearly 150-year history and represents a powerful vote of confidence in the new OneQuest Health mission and its commitment to the Commonwealth, and beyond. Derek Haught of the Yung Family Foundation will also be joining the OneQuest Health Foundation board.

The funding will immediately translate into exciting, necessary interventions that will support both residential and outpatient clients currently receiving care. Specifically, the investment will be allocated across three critical areas:

COVINGTON, KY – NOVEMBER 21, 2025 – A vital partnership between OneQuest Health and Northern Kentucky University (NKU) has secured $100,000 in funding to create scholarships aimed at addressing the critical shortage of mental healthcare professionals in Kentucky. The funding, awarded through the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education’s (CPE) Healthcare Workforce Investment Fund (HWIF), will directly support students in NKU’s Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. 

The partnership, which was awarded its full request of a $50,000 match from the HWIF (totaling $100,000 with the healthcare partner’s contribution), is a distinctive effort to directly funnel talent into a high-need area of the healthcare sector. Since the inception of HWIF, OneQuest Health has leveraged a total of $300,000 in funding speci

cally addressing mental healthcare workforce development in the region. 

“We see this partnership with Northern Kentucky University as a game-changer,” said Rick Wurth, OneQuest Health CEO. “It's incredibly important and truly distinctive for a provider like OneQuest Health to be collaborating directly with a state university to tackle the critical workforce shortages we face in mental healthcare. The scholarship program is a direct response to the legislative intent of the HWIF, which is focused on growing the state’s healthcare workforce.

The partnership will be formally recognized at the HWIF Awards Program on December 9th during the Healthcare Workforce Collaboratory in Lexington, KY. Further details regarding contract implementation and budget will be discussed with CPE in the coming weeks.

OneQuest Health and Northern Kentucky University Partnership Secures $100,000 to Combat Mental Health Workforce Shortages

OneQuest Health, beginning November 14, 2025

. This strategic evolution marks a significant step in the organization's mission to move beyond regional behavioral health services and build a proactive, integrated system of care designed to address the complex health challenges of today.

The change to OneQuest Health is the culmination of years of growth and a direct response to the growing need for comprehensive, accessible healthcare. While CHNK has a celebrated history—evolving from a children's home to a leader in behavioral health—the new identity reflects a broader, more ambitious vision. OneQuest Health is built to scale its proven model of empathy-driven care, form strategic partnerships, and transform health for individuals and communities on a wider scale.

To celebrate this milestone, OneQuest Health will host a launch event on November 14th, at its headquarters located at 200 Home Rd, Covington, KY 41011 from 11am-1pm. The event includes a light lunch inside the historic administration building following initial remarks on the front lawn of the scenic Devou Park campus.

 – CHNK Behavioral Health (Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky) is proud to announce it has been allocated $100,000 in funding from the City of Florence's Opioid Settlement Funds. This grant will support CHNK's efforts to expand mental health and substance use treatment services, ensuring improved access to care for Florence residents.

The allocation from the City of Florence is part of its plan to use opioid settlement funds to support projects providing intervention, treatment, and recovery services for individuals with opioid use disorder or co-occurring substance use disorder and mental health issues. CHNK's services, which include prevention, early intervention, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and medication management, align with these criteria. This funding will help CHNK cover the gap between the cost of care and Medicaid reimbursements, which often only cover 43%-75% of state Medicare rates, ensuring high-quality services for residents regardless of their payer source.

This grant supports CHNK's campaign, "An Easier Path to Mental Health," which aims to expand its services throughout the Northern Bluegrass Region, including the City of Florence. As a recipient of these funds, CHNK will provide the City of Florence with an annual report detailing the type and number of services provided to its residents.

About the City of Florence Opioid Abatement Funds

The City of Florence receives a portion of Kentucky's opioid settlement proceeds, which can be used to fund projects that meet specific criteria related to opioid use disorder or co-occurring mental health issues. These funds are intended to support programs providing intervention, treatment, and recovery services to those affected by the opioid crisis.

Founded in 1882, CHNK Behavioral Health is a trauma-informed healthcare organization that provides mental, behavioral, and substance use treatment to children, teens, adults, and families. Licensed as a Behavioral Health Services Organization, Alcohol and Other Drug Treatment Entity provider, and Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility, CHNK offers a full continuum of care, including outpatient therapy, residential treatment, and partial hospitalization.
